If you're reading this, you probably know my store but maybe not me as a person, and that feels like a good place to start.
I wanted to begin the new year by introducing myself and giving you a glimpse of the person behind the brand. My shop is personal because it’s filled with all of my creativity and energy.
Unpopular opinion but I like the month of January. It's quiet, reflective, and honest. I decided to start this journal as a way to communicate my thoughts, my process and everything in between.
A lot of people have been in my shop but don't really know who I am and that feels strange because literally every piece that comes in the shop has passed through my hands first. Buying for the store is one of my favorite things to do, it's also the most thoughtful. A lot of my buying process is instinctual, but it’s also deeply considered. I buy to tell a story, and it comes to life through my visual merchandising and the feeling you get in the shop when you’re here.
You’ll notice we don’t overbuy. That’s intentional. I believe in buying less and buying better. Bringing in fewer units allows each piece to feel special and gives our clients the opportunity to wear something that feels different, meaningful, and thoughtfully chosen.
I'd rather bring in one really cool piece than five average pieces. I think about this often as I am sifting through samples.
As I look ahead to 2026, what I want most for the store is clarity. I want it to feel calm when you walk in. I want you to trust the edit. I want getting dressed to feel easier, not louder. I want the store to feel like a place where you can slow down, be inspired, and maybe discover something you didn’t know you were looking for.
